These large teardrop open wire frame earrings are handmade in America using 16-gauge brass wire and are plated with .999 fine silver in an antique finish.  Natural lava beads which have been hand-cut and drilled are added by hand using silver wire.  Made of natural lava rock, these black beads have irregular porous surfaces and will vary in shape and size.  Add a drop of your favorite essential oil on the lava stone beads for an aromatherapy effect.  It is recommended that you reapply oil after 2-3 days.  Lava beads are treated with a wax finish to stregthen them and make them more wearable.  This helps it take essential oils better and not discolor the beads.  Overall length of earring measures approximately 2 1/2" and 15/16" at the widest point.  Sterling silver french wires.
