To restore the original luster of the bright cuts, was with mild soap in warm water, dry immediately with a soft cloth. Buff lightly with a fine steel wool (#0000) to restore the original background satin finish. Polish finished pieces may be polished with a good quality brass, pewter or non-abrasive silver polish.
